So many of you out there do such amazing work, I so envy you 😉  Well, some of you try to build my confidence and tell me to practice, or you don’t believe me….So to the ones out there that don’t believe me, and asked to see my failed paintings…here they are…but please don’t laugh…

    1. Thank you so much. If you could only see the picture I was trying to copy. After looking of lots and lots of paintings of the ocean, I am coming to the conclusion that if you paint different blues, greens and whites for waves, it looks like the ocean. Some paintings I look at instantly remind me of the ocean. perhaps that’s it. I love the ocean…

      1. I understand what you mean. And when comparing to a photo, unless you’re into hyper realism, it’s never going to be the same. And is copying really the goal? Or is it to capture the feel of the ocean? Because I think you’re getting that into your paintings.

    1. Thank you so much joanne! So sweet. I am not a painter at all. I can’t draw either. I wish I could. I tried copying a picture I saw that reminded me of the ocean. Then, not happy with it…I added sparkle, sand, shells…more to distract from the ocean I painted.
