I love creating new ideas. And now that I am happily retired, I have lots more time to create them! Whether its crafts for decorating my home, or up cycling items I find at garage sales, thrift stores, and even on the curb, and turning them into something wonderful.

Women can do a lot with their hair. You put together a nice variety of styles. I had really log hair when we lived in Spain, but I only had it two ways: loose and wavy or pulled into a ponytail. Although, one time when I was on a bus heading to a flamenco show north of Madrid, the young woman sitting next to me, a complete stranger, asked me if she could do some small braids in my hair for something to do on the bus. I let her. She had a great time, and the result looked fine. It made the trip less boring. In August of 2016, I let one of my daughter’s friends dye my hair blue.

I’m not really. But I’ll go along with some things. Hair can be cut, hair grows back, so letting people mess with my hair is not a big deal. Permanent stuff like tattoos is not for me.
