Golden Pumpkins

Where did this year go?? It’s October already,can you believe it?? I just love that fall is here! That means it’s time to start the fall crafts…and nothing speaks to me more at fall then pumpkins! I was hauling in the ‘fall’ bins from the garage yesterday, and I noticed this sad little pumpkin…..

Doesn’t it look so sad 😦    so……..

I got out my box cutter and cut off the top. I then took a can of Rustoleum Metallic Gold Spray Paint….painted it….filled it up with flowers and ribbons….and here it is now….

Then I painted another with white chalk paint….then took a round pouncer and it came out like this…

Only another dozen to decorate….did I mention I love the fall!

      6. I’m all unpacked…I’m very diligent when it comes to unpacking and settling in. Oh, the mountains of boxes. In the valley we have something called
        Nextdoor. It’s where people in your neighborhood can go online and check out what’s going on in your neighborhood. I posted ‘Free U Haul Wardrobe, and Moving Boxes in all sizes and shapes. They were gone in 2 days. Those boxes are expensive, and I love to save people money, and get rid of the boxes at the same time.

      2. You can buy at dollar store. Also, a cute idea…buy 4 small ones..paint an antique white..and spell out F A L L (F on one A on the other and so on. But Paint the letters in a metallic gold…so pretty…you could also paint the stem gold..
        Be sure to have your Michaels coupon! Let your imagination go wild!!!!

      9. I am going to India!! So, that will be complete off of everything, May be I’ll take a break from blogging as well..I am not sure, how much time I could get. But looking forward to enjoy my trip fully, make memories..:-)

  10. I’m surprised I’ll say this, but the first transformation is a very elegant use of a pumpkin! haha I would love to buy simple little styrofoam ones like this to do a decorating project with my class!

  11. Wow, that came out great…so talented. I love pumpkins too and Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love Halloween and decorating and making wreaths. These are all really creative pumpkins, thanks for the cool ideas.
