Being organized is one of the first things we learn, yet we’re having trouble with it even as adults.Kitchen organization is one of the trickiest things, simply because there are so many little things you need to pay attention to.Cabinets and drawers are just not enough anymore. It’s time you considered a few more ingenious solutions.

And now for that pantry…

Do you have a favorite diy idea you came up with? I would just love to hear from you!!

I love creating new ideas. And now that I am happily retired, I have lots more time to create them! Whether its crafts for decorating my home, or up cycling items I find at garage sales, thrift stores, and even on the curb, and turning them into something wonderful.
The creative juices flowing in my head are almost always in overdrive....so many ideas! I love sharing my new ideas with all of you! So please follow me and let me know how I'm doing! I hope I can inspire you.....and if I do....send me a pic. I would love to see your creation.

Oh how I love the look, but by the second day my guys have destroyed it all!!! We are remodeling the pantry side of the kitchen next year and I can’t wait! I don’t like to cook. ( shhh) 😉 I see all the things in these kitchens and think how I have just the basics, can’t go out and get the stuff though just for the look, or can I?? Lol

If your going to be in your home for awhile, then remodel it to your liking. What you need in a kitchen ….besides a private chef!

I wish I had a kitchen large enough to accommodate some of these wonderful ideas. When we were designing this kitchen, I had a corner that needed to be utilized. We made a deep tambour with a rolling door and an electrical outlet inside. All my small appliances and gadgets are hidden there, already plugged in. All I have to do is pull out what I need and turn it on.

Not nearly as crafty as you are, darling! However, we are about to put sliding shelves into bottom kitchen cupboards because I find it difficult to climb inside to get things in the back of them. Wish me luck!

I just did that a couple of months ago in my bottom cabinets, what a difference. I did it for the same reasons as you! Trying to find pots and pans, casserole dishes….ridiculous! I highly recommend doing it honey. It’s pretty easy as long as you have a drill. The ones I put in bottom cabinets were only placed on top shelf (of bottom cabinet) This allowed me more storage on the bottom. Since they are placed on the inside of the cabinet it does take a few inches off.
Have fun….let me know how it goes!!
