This was a fun project. My son didn’t want this cd/dvd cabinet anymore, so it ended up in my craft room. I thought about it for a bit, and then came up with the idea of putting my spray paints and chalk paints in it for storage. That would work out super!
This is what it looked like before….a mess!
Pretty rough……but I love a challenge! I started by cleaning it all up, and painting the inside and outside white.

I love creating new ideas. And now that I am happily retired, I have lots more time to create them! Whether its crafts for decorating my home, or up cycling items I find at garage sales, thrift stores, and even on the curb, and turning them into something wonderful.
The creative juices flowing in my head are almost always in overdrive....so many ideas! I love sharing my new ideas with all of you! So please follow me and let me know how I'm doing! I hope I can inspire you.....and if I do....send me a pic. I would love to see your creation.

It really turned out perfect for my spray paint cans and chalk paint! See how smart it is not to throw something out that can be repurposed!

Exactly! I use to do a lot of decorative painting on furniture to sell. It’s amazing what a difference paint can make.

If you have been checking out myprojects…you know I just love spray paint! So great on pieces that have been discarded. It is amazing what some people throw out or abandon on the curb.

I love that! It turned out so well!
And using small pieces to keep the tape straight is genius. Definitely making note of that!

I redid one of these years ago, like a decade honestly, and the paper you’ve put on yours adds a nice touch! Wish I would have thought of that. 🙂

You had one too!! Love to see yours! It really adds an extra layer of design…too bad the paint cans cover it though.

Thank you so much! It was just wasting away in the garage. Love that I repurposed it into something I really use. Keeps the cans together! Have an awesome day!
