It’s so pretty. I have done this to blankets, throws, and some of the beach cover ups. I put a pattern on the center back.of a T shirt in a basket weave- like -pattern. If you create one, we would love, love to see!!!

Thank you…I think you should stick to pants! Have a wonderful day!! 🤗❤️️

My legs are not the best looking legs around, so pants it will be. Thinking of legs, when I was racing bicycles in the 80’s and 90’s, I used to shave my legs as bicycle racers do. I have long legs and shaving them took a lot of time. I don’t ride anymore, but, if I did, I wouldn’t have to shave my legs now, because after all the chemo I’ve had, hair doesn’t grow on my legs anymore.

My hair became really curly on my head! I’m sorry about your going through the chemo. I think body hair not coming back may be a good thing except on my head!

My hair was curly, now it’s only slightly curly.

That’s good…right??

Curly is better, but I’m not going to complain. Have straight gray hair is better that the alternative.

I love my hair now.🤗

Thats a good thing though right? My hair always had a small wave to it. Now Its now very curly. It’s funny how I always wanted curler hair, but not how I earned it!

Where did you race? My husband raced in the 80s. He was a BMX pro AA racer and then did some pro racing in Europe around 85. He shaved his legs, too. 🙂

The only time I raced was at the Ontario speedway. I was in a Porsche club. Professional racer would take me around the track driving my car, showing what it could do. Then I would drive with him being a co pilot. I got up to 120 then I slowed. I will never forget those times. Thank you for the memories!

I raced road bikes mostly in the Albuquerque area, but I raced in Colorado and Arizona quite a bit back then.

That’s awesome! My husband raced BMX primarily. He went pro in MA and then did some pro riding in Germany until he had a major accident that landed him in a body cast. I’m still learning about the different bike sports, so I’m curious about all of it. Thanks for sharing with me!

A body cast…horrible for your whole family. Thank you for sharing.

BMX, mountain bike racing and cyclocross can be brutal. I always came home bloody and bruised mountain biking.

But that’s a good thing Timothy, no hair on legs. How long ago did you have your chemo. Are you finished with it? I went through the process also. I’m so sorry.

Unfortunately, during the current situation, there is no beach and no ganging out. Still, these are great ideas, and my older granddaughter would’ve loved to do some of that stuff, especially anything that has to do with beads. My younger daughter-in-law, in her taste and wisdom, would never allow her girls to wear or use anything that doesn’t have a brand name on it. I don’t interfere!

Don’t interfere….it’s a hard one! I have one of those daughter in laws too! I remember when my oldest would only wear shirts with the alligator on it. At graduation I couldn’t find a white long sleeve Izod anywhere. I just cut off an alligator and sewed it on a plain one. He didn’t know the difference. Now I know your going to think something about me. I didn’t raise him that way, it’s just what all his friends wore. He knew if I purchased him clothes for school or whatever, he would be getting less if brand name. He chose the brand name. Yuck, I am not one of those moms that over spoil, well I do spoil a little, like most parents. I did raise them on my own. Now I get to spoil their children and its fun!!

You got the picture exactly, darling, alligators and stuff – not my style at all. But you are doing the right thing spoiling their children. Let them deal with the results!
