Super Fun Crafts For Kids Pt 1

Virus is still out there and I thought I would post this for your children since school is out, and the kiddos are getting bored! If you follow me, you know how much I love❤ children! Each Thursday is kids craft day!

I had this container, from a Slimfast drink, I thought was pretty cool. When you take off the wrapper, you have a nice white container. One of the kids wanted to craft with it…this is what she did:

This is the first thing she thought of when she spied the bottle. Imagine a flower inside and the top of bottle wrapped with a burlap bow.

I keep plenty of paints and glitter, etc on the craft table for the kids. This time I added a rock. I love to watch kids faces when they light up with an idea. Priceless. Mariah took on this challenge…she started by painting grass on the rock.

and this is how it looked when completed…

      1. I have to think where to get those soda bottles, maybe ask neighbors. My two older “local” grandkids are away in camp, but the little ones are in day camp here. Can’t wait for the mess (remodeling, that is!) to be over, so I can clean up the house and borrow the little ones for Sunday fun!

      2. Who knows! It very much depends on humidity because cement needs to dry. Parquet floorin dining room is finished – gourgeous!- and the kitchen ceiling is in place, thank G-d! All that remains is tile floors in kitchen and bathroom, and painting. I am coughing, my husband is sneezing, but we are taking it in stride.

  1. How fabulous! I bet you’re popular with the kids (and their parents) for coming up with great ideas to keep them occupied. So much better than hours on an iPad or computer.
