Painting Letters

I had so much fun with little ones yesterday. A couple of neighborhood kids came over to do some crafts with me.

Today we painted letters. You know those 8″ craft wooden letters you can purchase at Walmart.com or inside the store.

Mariah painted the front of the letters in 4 different colors:

This year she is into pastels! You can buy the paint at Walmart . We used foam brushes. I had purchased this large variety of

…what a buy! Great for kid crafts! Then I came up with idea of painting the insides and around the letter in a coordinating color. Mariah was hesitant at first, and I think she was getting tired.  So I ended up finishing it for her.

The finishing result is so beautiful…I love these!

I’m love crafts that include shells. I purchased the shells above through Walmart.com. I wanted a big bag. I ended up lightly painting them with a gloss white. They have all white also….but not in the big packages.
