Step 1: Put on thick socks, and then your flats.
Step 2: Blow-dry your shoes around the tight sections for a few minutes.
Step 3: Keep your socks/flats on while it cools.
Step 4: Test them out; repeat process if you need them more stretched out.

  1. It’s a great one for sure. I have a high instep so my feet need a bit wider shoe.This is a wonderful solution. Also, I put cut up pool noodle in my tall boots to keep them straight and not bend over and crease. thank you for looking, your so sweet!!!

  4. These are terrific. You are on my follow list, but today I had to bookmark you also so I can get back quick. I love the ideas…one thing I’d love to find out though is a way to remove the bad rubber odor from cheap flipflops. I bought a pair this year that are designated to the garage the smell is so bad.


    1. You are in luck! There re so many ways to get the odor out and you won’t even have to purchase anything! First, you can try washing them in your washer with a bit of soap and 1/2 C white vinegar. Put them through the washer, then let them dry outside in the sun.Another way is just to soak them in white vinegar or alcohol. let air dry in the sun. Let me know how it goes!
